ALERT Driving School passion is in teaching and the desire to equip pupils with highly intensive training which will ultimately help prepare you to pass with ease and most importantly, prepare you to drive independently and be able to tackle all situations when on the road driving independently.

ALERT instructors are trained and DVSA registered with years of experience. ALERT’s passion is to transfer expertise in knowledge, skill and anticipation in driving. In return, pupils will be fully ALERT in any given driving scenario by dealing with potential and developing hazards as well as managing risk both in and out of the vehicle.

Not only you will get your money’s worth and more; we train in a calm and fun atmosphere; a stress-free environment. We have high expectations of pupils and we tailor our instructions to suit the individual’s needs regardless of age, sex, needs and background knowledge in driving.

We are located in Harrow, and we offer driving tuition in all areas surrounding the Harrow Borough. We have sound knowledge of Pinner Test Centre test areas as our instructors all live around Harrow.

Great Instructor – Clear, Calm, and Supportive

I recently passed my driving test after just around 5 hours of lessons with Jay, and I couldn’t be more grateful for his guidance. Having experienced another instructor before, it became immediately clear how different Jay’s approach was. His teaching is exceptionally clear, relatable, and always delivered with honesty and a genuine intention to help you become a safer and more confident driver.

What stood out most was how comfortable he made me feel behind the wheel. He explains things in a straightforward, calm manner that made even the more challenging parts of driving much easier to grasp. Thanks to his support and structured approach, I went into my test feeling prepared and confident. I’d highly recommend Jay to anyone looking for an instructor who truly cares about your progress and safety.

Learning with Jay is easy

Jay was recommended by a friend of mine, He was my first and only driving instructor. When I had my first lesson, I was nervous unsure of what to do or what to expect when driving a manual car. But I was already driving within 8 minutes of the lesson starting. By the end of it, I knew I would stick with him as my instructor.
Jay is a chill guy. My experience with him as my driving instructor will definitely be memorable. He’s an excellent teacher, patient and friendly. If you don’t understand something, he doesn’t get frustrated with you instead he explains it to you until you get it. I enjoyed driving with him, and I’m grateful I passed with his help.

Put your trust in Alert!!

Jay gave me a great experience when learning with him. He made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and most importantly ensured that I was learning form him. When I did my lessons with jay I took a 4 hour slot! This really helped me get used to the roads of the test centre and allowed me to develop my driving within the period. When driving with jay I advise that the learner should be really on it and focused so that they ensure they understand everything that jay goes through. Thank you Alert Driving for the wonderful services! 🤟🏽❤️

Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor!

I really enjoyed my lessons with Jay—he made me feel comfortable and was always respectful. Even when my family advised me to change instructors due to the late-hour lessons, I stood my ground because his teaching style was exactly what I needed. Jay is incredibly patient, honest, and thorough in his approach. He didn’t just tell me what to do; he helped me understand my mistakes and guided me step by step until I got everything right. I truly appreciate everything he has done for me and wish him all the best—he’s an amazing instructor!
