Situated in the Penn area of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, Aldergrove Manor Care Home is a purpose built 70 bedded care home offering Dementia, Nursing, Respite care along with care for young people with disabilities. Residents have a choice of lounges overlooking the garden which feature comfortable and specially designed furnishings.

We have a range of comfortable and well-equipped bedrooms; some of our rooms also have views across the garden.

Our Chefs pride themselves in knowing the tastes of our Residents and preparing a choice of home cooked, fresh, nutritional meals and catering for any dietary and cultural needs.

My mother was placed here for assessment from hospital. The bed wasn't made for 4 days with no duvet on it. She was left soiled for hours on end. She needed help with feeding which didn't happen so the food went cold and hard. Her medication was left on a table in front of her which then ended up on the floor. Some of her clothes which were all named got lost. When you needed a member of staff there was no one to be seen. The overall cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Basically I wouldn't leave my dog there to be looked after. Then they charge £625 per week!

Specialist Dementia Care

Before you subject and friend or relative to this home you should ask exactly WHAT their expert dementia care consists of my experience was that dementia sufferers at this home were forced to stay in bed all day yes FORCED wheather they wished to get up or not. Social Services told me that they had so many complaints about Aldergrove that they didnt know where to start.

My mother is receiving care at Aldergrove Manor. The home is clean and well decorated, the staff are compassionate and caring. Nothing is too much and they are always friendly. My mothers care is exceptional. Thank you for all you do.

My mom was receiving palliative care here and I could not ask for better care. Staff were attentive, friendly and compassionate. They could not do enough for us as a family and were so respectful. Thank you Aldergrove.

Can’t thank this home enough for the care of my great gran, they rehabilitated her enough for her to be able to return home! She’s 98! Incredibly kind and caring staff.
