Earlier this year I had the sadly lost my mum, a close friend recommended Albany funerals.

I can not pass on this recommendation with enough credit, they were very accommodating, and met our every need.

I received numerous comments on how well the service and day proceeded.

I wanted, as anyone would, to give my mum a send off she would appreciate and this company hit the mark in every level.

It’s a sad thought I may have to organise such an occasion again but Albany will be my first port of call, professional, friendly, accommodating to say the least.

All the staff here were very kind, understanding and sympathetic. Nothing was to much trouble. They reached all our expectations and then some. A very difficult time was made more bearable by their expertise and we cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Sadly over the past few months I have had to use the services of Albany on two separate occasions in order to lay to rest a friend and a family member.

All the staff I had contact with were patient and understanding, they went out of there way to ensure that the arrangements where made individually, for us and what we wanted.

I would like to make special mention of “jo”. She always either answered the phone straight away or called back immediately. She answered every question we had and ensured we were kept up to date with what was happening at each stage of the process, she made you feel that what you wanted from funeral was as important to her as it was you.

I will no doubt in future take part in their remembrance and celebration events.

It was nice in this modern corporate world, to have a really personal service from a family business.

I will now only use Albany funerals for my family.

Quiet, calm and compassionate. Jo and her team were amazing, they really do go that extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. They guided us through a difficult and tough time, giving sage advice and a shoulder to cry on. Nothing is too much trouble devoting themselves entirely, as if we were family. Their warm, welcoming, friendly and professional service is comforting and reassuring.
