Alan Ranger is a professional photographer and qualified photography tutor based in the Midlands, UK.

Alan's business is dedicated to teaching photography. He teaches all abilities and interests and works with clients on a 1-2-1 basis and through small group classes and courses in the Midlands.

He leads location based photography workshops around the UK where he supports and instructs photographers, of all levels, the art of camera craft and creative composition. Alan has also worked within schools providing photography workshops to children with special needs.

His professional credentials and experience have led to him being an "Approved photography training provider for Jaguar Land Rover" via the JLR Employee Learning Scheme, and being commissioned to run photography training workshops at international events.

Fantastic

I have been on a workshop with Alan and taken the beginers coarse ,classroom based.
Fantasic and really informative.
I shall be booking more workshops and continue my photography path with Alan.
Also great to meet nice likeminded people from various ages and backgrounds who have the same intent on learning and becoming better photographers , Hopfully i shall see you out there at the workshops..... Get yourself in touch with Alan Ranger you will not regret it!!

I would recommend Alan Ranger to anybody looking for Photography tuition at any level, courses cover all aspects of photography, Alan has a passion for teaching and that comes across in a professional but informal enjoyable way to learn.

Highly Recommended!

I’ve completed a wide range of courses and workshops with Alan, I’ve enjoyed all of them and I would recommend him to anyone. His time, patience and vision for photography has taken me from someone who thought they’d sign up for a beginner’s course to find out more about the dials on my camera, to someone with a keen interest in landscape photography who is learning more about photography than they ever knew existed. Alan will always give an honest opinion alongside help, advice and support.
