I initially completed a Piano Tuner's apprenticeship with A E Knight's piano making factory in Essex, gaining a City & Guilds In Piano Tuning & Toning qualification.

After five years there, I then left to develope further my skills by becoming one of a team of Piano Tuners for Harrods. The Tuning Dept. provided a piano tuning service for both store bought pianos and also a regular piano tuning and maintenance service to existing long term customers.

After a further five years of employment, I decided to become self employed. I have now been Tuning and Repairing for 35 years and as a consequence I've gained substantial experience and knowledge.
