We have been using Akar for several years now, personally and for our business. Their service has always been exceptional with friendly and helpful staff and nice vehicles. Ken and `Becky have supported our Care Business all the way through the Covid Pandemic, ensuring that many of our staff arrive to work on time and home once finished. As a business they have been very supportive and taken a lot of strain off of us. Nothing seems to be to much bother, even changed shifts and forgotten calls to inform them, they have always been very understanding and accommodating. Thanks Guys for your support, especially over the past w years 👍👍

Bournemouth Trip.

Myself and six other ladies went to a Seminar in Bournemouth last week and had the excellent service of Akar Cars Sandown who picked us up in Peronne Way and took us right to our hotel door in Bournemouth. They booked the ferries for us and took our suitcases as well. Very pleasant journey, and picked us up to return us home when we had finished. Staff very polite and helpful.

my family and I have been using akar taxis for many years on an almost weekly basis, during our long association with the company they have never
let us down once and have even gone that extra mile when transporting my
wife to hospital to visit me after an operation and taking care to walk her to the ward and collecting her from there again on the end of the visit.
they are in our mind a taxi firm to be proud to know and use

The meter was already at £9 when we got into the mini bus and when questioned the driver rudely answered and said he had been sat waiting for 20 minutes. That was no fault of our own, as someone else from the party was a 'no show' 20 minutes prior and obviously found another way to get home. We ended up paying £20 from Sandown to Shanklin. Which included the initial £9 for just being in the car park! Would not recommend this taxi company.
