I would advise you not to use Alex as he doesn't know about cars.
Alex is a nice individual and pleasant to talk to, but unfortunately Alex is not a competent mechanic.
- He tried to charge us £700 for a new clutch when it was a simple oil problem fixed by Halfords for £12.
- He changed our brand new top mount three times to resolve a squeaking issue, which was never resolved. A different mechanic then diagnosed the problem as a loose break pad, and fixed for no fee. We then had to pay £120 to change the wrong top mount that Alex had put on our car.
- Alex lost our security lock nut costing us £80 to replace. This was a serious security breach as we were unable to change our flat tyre on an A road.

We were very upset and disappointed with Alex.

I would advise you to find a different mechanic.

Do not use this guy, he came over to change a heater blower on my citroen c1, he took apart the car but was confused, he had to look online to know what was what and at the end of the day refused to return unless I paid him twice to restore my car after he had taken it apart. Poor, poor, poor service. DO NOT USE THIS GUY.

Awesome and very honest mechanic! Will definetely call again! Totally recommend!
