The entire team of A J Sellwood were professional, reliable and very friendly. We would recommend the company without hesitation. All work carried out (renovation of a Victorian property including electrics, plumbing, carpentry, plastering and decorating) was completed on time and to a very high standard.

What a breath of fresh air to have reliable, knowledgeable and friendly builders! Sean and James of AJ Sellwood (together with their wider team) carried out our house renovation, refurbishment and extension to a very high standard of quality, not least because of their in depth knowledge (and enthusiasm for) understanding how buildings work and how to address effectively and efficiently the myriad of little issues that arise. The works were significant but we were able to move back in at the time we wanted. Sean’s project management skills are excellent and their ability to resource well all trades for the build was great. All in all, a good job well done.

I couldn’t rate AJ Sellwood more highly. Sean and James are a pleasure to work with. From the start of my internal refurb Sean communicated clearly and reassuringly. They worked hard to align with their quote and held themselves and the wider team to very high standards of finish. Every person on the team is polite, respectful and trustworthy and the standard of finish on the work is fantastic. Where any snagging etc needed to be done they were swift to return and complete.
I would recommend them to anyone carrying out a refurb or build of any magnitude and will be using the team again soon to complete an extension.

Quality workmanship from professional and knowledgeable tradesmen. They delivered as promised and on time. They were clean & tidy and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I have no hesitation in recommending AJ Sellwood.

Two storey extension - additional living space, laundry & bedroom with ensuite.

If we could give more stars, we would.

Fair quote for the work. The project came in just under budget and perfectly on time.

Everybody that came on site was polite, friendly, professional, and experienced.

During the day, our home was kept as tidy and clean as possible, with a full clean at the end of each day.

Courteous of noise, traffic and impact on us and our neighbours.

James and Sean visited throughout each day to keep us informed of progress and next steps.

We would not hesitate to use Sellwood Building Solutions again and have recommended them.
