Having decided it was time I left a review for a vet I have been using for over twenty years, I've just seen the one star review. I am deeply, deeply saddened by this. It's not for me to dismiss someone else's experience, but it makes it even more important to talk about my own 20 plus years experience of this Devonshire Street practice. Dr Peter Eccles combines an unmistakable genuine love of animals with one of the most scientific minds I've ever encountered, the result being that he is a supremely fine vet. He has just performed extensive dental work on my 15 year old dog, taking as usual every possible precaution to ensure the safety of such an elderly animal. (Bailey is now happily back home with me, minus some troublesome teeth, plus fresh breath and a "Hollywood smile"!) Add to this that his staff are always friendly and helpful, both in person and on the phone. All my dogs have been long lived because of his first class care. I would never dream of taking them anywhere else.

We have always received very good care for our cats at this vets. Completely the opposite of the other review. Friendly staff and excellent standards of practice.

Took my sick cat here and was charged a total of over £900
in 6 weeks of re consultations and being encouraged to have unnecessary blood tests and injections and then being told that
my cat was probably suffering and should have been put to sleep weeks ago after being told he had kidney failure and had little chance of recovery,also rather annoyingly the vet on every visit pulled up the records on the computer for a different cat and called him by differnt names accordingly.
