Once sanding was completed the floor was polished with an oil to enhance the natural colours and grain of the wood. Stunning results.....!!!!!!

Michael of Aire Valley Flooring was recommended to us by British Hardwoods of West Yorkshire who supplied the oak flooring for our cottage renovation.
Michael’s work was that of a professional craftsman who takes care and pride in his work. He took ownership of the challenges which arose in fitting an oak floor to our renovated cottage. He had innovative solutions and gave knowledgeable advice on the flooring options. He went the extra mile with our project and we felt confident with him in charge. He worked within time and budget and worked weekends to ensure his part of the project was delivered on time. He worked seamlessly with and around the other trades which were in the cottage at the same time. I would recommend him without hesitation or reservation.

What a transformation!

Michael did a fantastic job restoring our original pine floorboards in the dining room and hallway of our house. It looks like we have had new flooring put down.
He was very transparent and let us know how long to leave the floor once each treatment had been applied which made it easier to plan on staying out of the way. I would recommend Michael and Aire Valley flooring to anyone looking to have their floorboards renovated!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aire Valley Flooring, we are absolutely over the moon with Michael’s brilliant work and his fab communication and guidance throughout the whole process. We had our original floorboards restored and and it looks amazing! 10/10 and we hope to book in with them again soon.
