Air Marine

We had a simialr experience. They agreed a rate then after several months with out incident - we do a weekly import - they suddenly held up a consignment and refused to deliver it unelss we paid an invoice not due for several weeks and at nearly double the agreed rate! They are absolute crooks and sholud be struck off from any Associaton that regulates importers/agents. We started legal proceedings and they finally delivered our goods.

Air Marine is a horrendous company that has a team of very rude people (including their manager). Unfortunately I have come across this company because I never dealt with forwarding agents before, but have now filed complaints about them everywhere that's relevant to them. They have charged me for THEIR failed delivery - because they failed to inform me of when my goods would be delivered. The driver did not even bother ringing the buzzer. They refused to listen or explain and charged the client for their own mistake. They have failed to produce their Business Policy code of conduct even though it was formally requested almost a month ago. Horrible and dishonest staff, terrible service. They have also threatened to withold my goods so had to pay for THEIR failed delivery charge under protest. Stay away from them!!!
