They go above and beyond to help anyone often saying the dojo door is always open if I want to come (they were true to this!!). Great community spirit which felt so good to see other sides to people you train with on the matt. Such rare/unique/useful experiences training for conflict transformation given by the Sensei's at Shudoukan cannot rate enough! Love the interesting, diverse, exciting teaching where no week feels the same. It helped me through some real tough times involving domestic abuse and grief, such awesome unique blokes gave me so much confidence and gratification when struggling to manage basic tasks and trust anyone. So sad I left to move to a new city, in an ideal world would keep Shudoukan down the road! The aikido was brilliant and impressive, it's so fun to move in these ways and the Sensei's are very real about making you feel you can do it and often tell you how your growing in the art, it gave me skills to improve my life and tools to build other skills.

Sensei Ken and his team teach with passion, dedication and commitment both the technical aspects and the practical application of aikido. The teachers are very friendly exceptionally talented and 100% devoted to their students. Sensei Ken in particular is capable of bringing out the most effort, skill, and character from each student.

Without a doubt the most professional and Inspiring Academy i have had the pleasure to be a part of over the past year. A Massive thank you to Sensei Ken Robson and his dedicated team.
