With over 30 years of experience, our Founder Jalil Ahwazian has now become one of the UK’s leading specialists in Handmade Persian and Oriental carpets and rugs. Having started his journey in the industry over thirty years ago in Zürich, Switzerland, Ahwazian Ltd has come a long way since.

Having established in London in 1992, Ahwazian has continued to work with highly skilled weavers all over the world, importing the highest quality rugs to sell to our customers with care. Whilst so much has changed in the last thirty years, our values continue to stay the same.

We work with weavers all over the world. Variety is the spice of life, and we stock rugs of all shapes, sizes, designs and origins. It has taken many, many years to develop our vast and varied stock – our Rug Centre is bursting with beautiful handmade and hand knotted Persian rugs; from tribal, village, city and silk to antique. vintage and oversizes. We also stock a wide selection of Afghan, Indian, Kilim, Aubusson and Moroccan rugs.

As we continue to work closely with teams of trusted weavers, it is a pleasure to see how the weavers take great pride in their work and their craftsmanship, and it is a pleasure to bring these rugs to you.

With easy access from the A406, M1, and plenty of on-site parking, our Rug Centre offers an accessible and convenient one-stop shop for both trade and retail customers. From designers to trades people, our customers love the location and are delighted with the service we provide.
