Ridiculous opening hours and slow service

How long do you need to wait for a perscription to be ready? According to this particular pharmacy, no matter when it is sent & recieved (13th Jan 2023) you STILL have to sit and wait whilst they "prepare" it for 10-15 mins (19th Jan 2023) not acceptable in my book, we are all busy and not happy to wait whilst the phamarcist faffs. It should have been done, end of. Feel unable to "complain" since the man behind the counter, is far from approachable. Defo not using this pharmacy again. Do yourself a favour and make the trip into Reading town and use another one.

These people do everything in their power to be helpful. They have cordial relations with customers and are always polite and as efficient as possible, given that they have a very large number of users.

My dad has used this pharmacy for over 20 years and has never had a problem there . They are quick and efficient and have a delivery service . The pharmacist there is very knowledgeable and helpful

Best pharmacy I've ever been to. All prescription items served correctly and efficiently. The pharmacist was helpful and polite, the service is absolutely one of its strongest points. The small shop-setting of the pharmacy made it a welcoming and friendly environment to be in as opposed to big pharmacy chains such as Lloyds and Boots where the service and setting is extremely impersonal. I would definitely visit this pharmacy again.

Unfortunately, a pharmacy is bound to strict opening hours and timings by the local PCT. If medication is dispensed outside these contracted hours, the responsible pharmacist is questioned.
Similarly, your local GP "no matter how urgent your problem was" would not see you after contracted hours and you would be directed to contact WestCall.
The pharmacist at this pharmacy goes to extra lengths to provide the best patient service and this resonates amongst the local community and doctor's surgeries alike.
There is also ample free parking around the corner from the pharmacy on Winchester and Surrey Rd. for up to two hours.
