DO NOT insure your pets with Agria! I work in the veterinary profession and insured 2 out of our 4 cats with Agria after being told by their rep who was trying to get us to promote their policies in our practice that their cover was identical to another, very well known, pet only insurer. We subsequently had to test all four of our cats for an infectious condition only to be told by Agria that the claim (at over £350 + VAT per cat) was refused as they do not cover testing or screening of healthy pets! This after our 5th cat had to be put down for testing positive to this same disease. So be aware that they bury these major exclusions in the small print, and this is A MAJOR exclusion. It means that those all important pre-anaesthetic blood tests that you may need to have done on your pet won't be covered and any investigative tests that they deem to be on a "healthy animal" might not be covered either.
