Agra Balti House

The staff greeted us with smiles, and were wearing gloves, masks etc. They had all the government guidelines in place, signage, hand sanitising station at the entrance etc. As we entered they asked us to antibac our hands, as we sat down, they told us some rules, asked us to fill out our details, maintained social distance with customers and staff. They also ensured at all times there was at least 1m plus between tables. It was also good to see them continuously clean surfaces religiously through service, wipe chairs, tables and clean the toilets after every use.

The service was relaxed and excellent, and the food was amazing, we ordered onion bhajis which were and the lamb tikka was tender. The chicken kurma and naga, with pilau rice and peshwari nan, was divine, the kurma was the best I have had in a long time, just the correct amount of sweetness. My husband enjoyed the naga too. He said it had the correct amount of hotness and flavours. The portions were also generous.

I had a party booking at Agra last week, and must say I had a really good time. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend that you visit the Agra if you are in Basingstoke, as I must admit the service, the food, and everything about the place was fantasic.

The rudest phone manner I have ever come across, when asked if they would deliver to Dummer they said NO! I offered to pay a charge and they hung up, I called back to be greeted by the same incredibly rude and ill mannered man. I addressed the fact that he had hung up on me, he went onto to lie and sad "No that was my other college" but then made reference to my last order and the fact I lived in Dummer. Myself and my company make regular visits to the Agra and have spent a large amount of money. I hope if you read this review you will take a leaf out of my book and not give them your business.
