Afton Taxis

Arrived at the station and had not pre booked a taxi to take me to the hotel. Called and although I was told it could be about 20 minutes my car arrived within 10. Lovely driver and great service.

I was at a party last night with my daughter. Her friends booked a 16 seater to take us home. There was a bit of bother with the people they picked up before us but it had nothing to do with us. The taxi said it would be back for us but we waited over an hour. I taxi driver pulled up and he phoned the office with my daughters phone and they said the 16 seater was not coming back. His office said he could take some of us but it would be £40 pounds and that might not sound a lot but to young ones it is. If i had not been there my daughter could have ended up stranded. This is bad show by the taxi firm and bad that they feel they can rip people of
