We at After Dark Productions set out back in 2000 to create a Mobile Disco Product that adopts the standards of the professional Audio and Lighting industry from the live touring sector coupled with nightclub quality DJs...Thus producing a quality Mobile Disco that other mobile DJs simply cannot get near to. In fact our systems surpass most Night Clubs in the area.
We are proud owners of Funktion-One sound systems which are renowned in the pro audio industry to be the best speakers in the world for this application. In fact we were the first Mobile DJ company to own Funktion-One.
When it comes to lighting our knowledge is hard to beat, After Dark Productions is owned and operated by Simon Horn who is a very successful lighting designer and programmer and currently tours with Pop Star Anastacia with a portfolio of other artisits including Aston Merrygold, Olly Murs, Westlife, Five, Blue and B*Witched.
Many mobile DJs think they understand sound and lighting equipment, but we genuinely do and prove this by our portfolio of professional industry experience.

5At the 50th, the music was spot on. Ben judged the tone perfectly with the best mix of oldies & newer songs - his timing was great with floor fillers, & those dancing absolutely loved it. However, we could also have good conversation at the bar without shouting over the music, so non dancers had a great time too. The dance floor lighting was amazing & mirror balls added great atmosphere. Outside at the bar, uplighters created stunning ambience against the stone walls.
The 16th in a 6m pagoda with star cloth lining looked incredible - an intimate nightclub at the end of the garden. The choice of music from Ben was again inspired, mainly contemporary but teenagers love an 80’s classic & they were just as popular. Having AD in charge of music & lighting absolutely made the party.
Simon's organisation throughout was efficient & straight forward, & the set up and clear down went very smoothly.
Very professional DJ service made our event a huge success
