Nasty receptionist
1
We recently had to have our cat put to sleep at this vets, we have been customers of theirs for about 12 years. On top of it being a very distressing time for us we had to deal with what I can only call atrocious behaviour and
disgusting customer care skills by one of their receptionist.
If I'm paying over £500.00 to have my cat seen to i don't expect to be treated like your doing me a favour!!!!
I wouldn't recommend this vets to anyone and If you care about your beloved animals then I recommend finding a more friendly and professional vets.

Poor customer service and no loyalty

Been a customer for a few years, other than a disagreement many years ago I’ve always felt the service was good. One nurse/assistant is a bit “abrupt”, but other than that the staff are great.
However, I recently purchased a new puppy and rang to book her vaccination, but was told the vets would not take on any new dogs, apparently this is a requirement of coronavirus restrictions. We explained we were long standing customers, but still no. The receptionist said she’d speak with the vet and if their willing we can take our puppy in. No call back.
Spoke to 3 other vets to be told what the receptionist had said was a lie and all willing to do the jab. I’ve since found out that at least 2 others were told the same. Afon have lost 3 customers that I’m aware of, they obviously don’t care about this, until it affects their cash flow I’m guessing.

excellent team of vets - always been very satisfied with their care

we have dealt with them since 1990 when they were called Dales & Irons.
Our Collie broke her leg and had to have an op to put in screws to help it mend - she went on to live to 18 years old.
We also had rabbits and guinea pigs treated by them for various ailments + our elderly cat. Sadly they have all sadly now passed on.
Although Mr Dale & Mr irons have retired now their extensive team of vets & nurses still give excellent service.
We have ducks now and the staff helped sort out a rather delicate problem with a drake.
We have always found them to be caring and efficent - have nothing but praise for the team.
