ADS Groundworks Driveways & Patios

I would not recommend this company. The owner Adam Day was rarely on site for the construction of my driveway. I had to keep checking the crew were following the brief (which they often were not!) There was no H & S equipment for the team or to protect the environment. (Ie dust extraction - dust was so bad neighbours complained & I had to pay to have all their cars washed) Once I paid Adam (on the last day) I went inside & next time I went out (about an hour later) they had packed up & left a huge mess that my son and I had to clean up. The job was so poorly finished. I was shocked. Adam did revisit & sent crew back but they messed up again. I paid nearly £5k. Adam agreed to refund £200 as a gesture of goodwill (to pay for the supplies we bought to rectify the poor finish which included tarmac, rebuild wall etc.) I gave him a month but he has still not paid & has stopped communicating. They also damaged my private road outside my property which was immaculate before. Don’t use them.

Was really happy with the work that was carried out for my driveway, he did an amazing job in which I was very happy with I couldn’t of asked for any one better to do it he was very efficient and followed everything he had said to me with to a tee leaving me completely stress free I would highly recommend him for anyones job

I told Adam what I wanted done which was half of my garden, and we both agreed on a price. On the first day of the job, him and his team arrived promptly and started working. When they were half way through, I noticed the path wasn't straight and a couple of minor things weren't right. He reassured me that they would correct it. When it was nearly completed, there was some materials left over so I decided to get Adam and his team to do the other half of the garden. Again we agreed on a price. I paid him upfront for the first lot of work, and I paid him a further £1,200 to do the second half of the garden. When they started the second half, they would turn up half way through the day. They then stopped showing up, so I repeatedly called Adam and he was making up excuses. They eventually came back for a few hours one day, and it's been two weeks since then. The work has not been finished. I also have tried to ring Adam and have left messages but he's made not effort to call back.

When finished the work was very pleasing. all involved where thoughtful and pleasant. the work was very good and Everything was left very tidy would highly recommend
