Addressing Homelessness
The Adref Charity shop opened in July 2011 and is just down the road from the Mill Street hostel in Pontypridd. It serves 3 purposes:-
- To offer our service users a chance to experience a workplace and develop skills.
Our training programme is accredited with Agored Cymru.
- To inform local people that housing and homelessness is an issue in the valleys and that Adref exists to combat it
- To raise funds to meet the shops own costs.
DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERS
Adref is always looking for good quality clothing and bric-a-brac to sell you can drop it off, or give us call and we will collect at a convenient time in our bright and shiny new van. We also need volunteers to help serve, sort and support in the shop.
