Established as a well-respected Cattery since 1999, we offer some of the friendliest and most professional boarding facilities within Lancashire.

Our small and friendly family run business are always on hand to guide you around our facilities. There are only a few of us here, each of us putting our heart and soul into taking care of every cat that comes through our doors. We have many regular customers, so we get to make long lasting furry friends with some of the cats that use our fully heated and indoor facilities.

We are recommended and used by local vets and are licensed by our local authority as well as being fully insured, for complete peace of mind. Please make sure your cat is fully up to date with it's vaccinations before booking a stay. All Medications catered for including Injections & Special Dietary requirements.

We are also stockists of Super Premium Dry Food.

Current Boarding Fees from £12-15 per day per cat.

I have been extremely happy with Acorn Cattery for the ten years I have used them . They have provided a safe, clean and warm environment for my pets . Laura runs a well organised business and employs diligent and caring staff . All the pets are well looked after on their ‘holidays’ and when I return they are in good health physically and mentally. I highly recommend this cattery.

Visited here with the intention of putting my cat in here but very quickly changed my mind. Very dark and depressing inside. The "cells" were completely empty, no scratching posts or bedding and no natural light at all. Since found a lovely place to put my cat that provides all the home comforts that this place doesn't, i.e bedding, toys, scratching posts and daylight!

clearly not my cattery you visited. our cattery has lots of natural light. As for pens being empty in the interests of hygene all bedding , posts, steps and toys are removed for cleaning and only added when a new cat enters the pen. We have rules and regulations to follow. I have been a sucsesful cattery owner and cat breeder for many yrs. The fact you keep reposting this claim has me thinking you have an agenda. Please feel free to contact me to discuss.
