Absolute Locks

Arrived at the exact time he said he would. Lock changed in a matter of minutes and provided valuable advice about key care. I would not hesitate to use Absolute Locks services again and would recommend them to all my friends and family. I was looking for a locksmith in my area and came across Absolute Locks. The review I read stated the lock was fitted for £90, having never had a lock fitted before I did not know if this was expensive or cheap. I rang round several locksmiths, the prices varied from £100 to £150 for an anti-snap lock. I decided to give Absolute Locks a try as they were cheaper. The lock that was fitted was a 3* anti-snap lock. I found this service efficient and courteous and would definitely use again
Subsequent to this I was in B&Q and noticed their 1* anti-snap locks were £65. I suppose if you want it cheaper you have to do it yourself.

We had an anti snap lock fitted to ensure we had the latest security. While not the cheapest (£90 for a lock supplied and fitted) it was a fast and efficient service. He came in the the evening and a few minutes later we had a secure modern lock. Our only disappointment was that after the locksmith left we noticed that the new lock stuck out of the door on the inside by about 1cm; the old one had been flush so looked much better. We felt this should have been mentioned, rather than just hope to get away with it. Overall we're satisfied but wish the lock fitted as well as the old one, and feel we should have been told and offered one that fitted correctly.
