I asked my letting property manager to get a quote for repair or replacement of the outside sun canopy at one of my rental properties locally. ABC needed numerous calls to actually get someone to site to quote, then had to be chased and chased to get a written quote which was presented in an unprofessional disinterested manner when we eventually got it after chasing them again. No negotiation on price, just a take it or leave it attitude. Missed opportunity by them to get on the approved contractor list for one of Bristols largest rental property management companies.

Not impressed .on the 19/3/2019 .Abbey came to give me a price on the roller blind I chose for our bedroom . I had to await her e.mail of the choice of scallop I wanted. I asked if I needed to pay a deposit, she said await my e.mail .
By late afternoon I hadn't received a reply, so I rang the the shop.
A lady said oh yes I was just going to e.mail you .please make your choice,& ring me back This I did her reply was Abbey had gone home but would pass the information on to her when she was next in.
Today being 2/4/2019 I took it upon my self to ring the shop to see if it was any where near finished. As I hadn't heard from them. No deposit was asked for but I was given a price.
The lady did say I will ring you back. She did to tell me there is no order .we always take a deposit she said .who did I speak to, the lady who answered the phone I replied. Well I did ask if a deposit was required,when Abbey came to visit. Shall we reorder for you My reply no thank you .

I had my wooden venetians fitted later summer, we opted for the more expensive ones with the tape on, I am over the moon with how they look and all my visitors have complimented them. They look a lot like shutters from outside with the tapes on, thank you again for excellent service ABC Blinds :) I highly recommend this company.

Unbeknown to us when the conservatory company designed our conservatory roof with obtuse angle triangles we had no idea the nightmare that would cause us when it came to roof blinds. We learned that standard roof blinds are made to fit the majority of conservatories with a right angled triangles in the roof. As such obtuse angled blinds (over 90 degrees) are more complicated, labour intensive to make and are more expensive . 'Conservatory Blinds ' quoted over £5,000 just for the pleated blinds without the vertical blinds! That was absolutely out of the question. Two other local high street blind companies (Both in south Gloucestershire) ) came to give us a quote. One measured up and said he would get back to us with a price and never did. The other one walked into the conservatory, looked at the roof and didn't even get his tape measure out, saying "I wouldn't know where to start with that" and he left. We were then recommended ABC Blinds by a relative who had been recommended them by a friend. On April 2015 Roy from ABC Blinds attended and he was as cool as a cucumber about it, reassuring me that it was well within their capabilities and he was confident they could do it. Roy measured up for pleated roof blinds and vertical window blinds for out conservatory. We were so at ease and pleased with the price that we decided to place the order straight away. We were told the vertical blinds would be about 2 weeks and the pleated roof blinds would be about 4-6 weeks. We were told that we could have the vertical blinds fitted as soon as they were ready. We were ridiculously busy and four weeks went by when I realised I hadn't heard anything about the vertical blinds. We were due to go away and I wanted the vertical blinds to be fitted for security reasons . I phoned ABC blinds and the female member of staff was really apologetic, confirmed that the blinds were ready but thought I may have wanted them fitted at the same time as the roof blinds. She said the fitters were committed all day but she would give them a call and see what she could do. Within two hours of my phone call a fitter was at my house fitting the vertical blinds . The vertical blind fabric was outstanding and looked fantastic. There was a need for the blinds to be tweeked ever so slightly to close a few gaps . I spoke to Kim and she was keen to get it sorted straight away but as we were due to go away we had to postpone it for a week. As promised 9am on the dot on Monday week, the fitter returned as arranged and sorted the issue in 10 minutes. I was very impressed.
Yesterday my pleated roof blinds were fitted by Paul. Paul actually makes the pleated roof blinds. He arrived at 10am and worked solidly until he left at almost 4pm. It was a pleasure to have him in our house. He was extremely polite and professional and his workmanship was absolutely quality. He clearly takes a lot of pride on his work, he took measures to protect our flooring and he cleaned up after himself once he was finished. The blinds look absolutely stunning, we are over the moon with the product and the service. Having had problems in the past with building work and having contractors in our home, I must admit I do get rather on edge when having work done around the home. However, ABC Blinds put me at ease and I will definitely be using them again and recommending them.
My view is that problems arise from time to time I accept that, but it's all about how the company deal with the problem and in my opinion all staff at ABC Blinds bent over backwards deal with an issues that came up., albeit they were minor issues.

We have used ABC Blinds for a number of years now in our past two properties.

It's nice to know that they make the majority of their blinds in house. We have just had some plantation shutters installed in our new kitchen and are so pleased with them.

All the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I'd have no problem in recommending them to anyone looking for a honest and reliable local company.
