Abbey Stairlifts

My mum had recently suffered a stroke and we needed a stairlift to be fitted quickly so my mum could return home. I spoke to a number of companies but the prompt service and response from Abbey Stairlifts gave me the confidence to choose them. We were not disappointed, the stairlift arrived and the engineer was first class, the stairlift was fitted with the minimum disruption and the engineer patiently explained how to operate the lift. My mum has once again been able to able to move from the upstairs of the house to the downstairs independently. I can highly recommend Abbey Stairlift.

After having surveys done by Other companies I thought a stairlift wasn’t going to be possible due to the difficulties of my staircase and some quotes given that weren’t within my budget and the length of time to installation. However , Mike from Abbey Stairlifts listened to my issues/requirements and was determined to overcome them. After undertaking a detailed survey of my house he determined what was needed and sought out a stair lift that would meet all my requirements. He sourced a lift that was new to the market and had it installed in half the time frame quoted by other companies . Mike and the two installers were so helpful, courteous and completed a feat of engineering. I’m so happy with the stairlift and quality of work undertaken.

My wife and I recently contacted ABBEY and we were very impressed by the prompt and very professional service we received. Firstly the ABBEY representative(Mike) explained everything very clearly, and subsequently we had a stairlift installed in double quick time. The fitter(Mel) did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the result.

Trying to organise Mums move back home was difficult enough. Moving her upstairs safely was our next challenge when it dawned on us we needed a stairlift. We had a number of quotes and engineer visits but I must say Mike from Abbey Stairlifts helped and guided us through what we needed and not just what he had in stock. Abbey stairlifts clearly had the technical knowledge and we genuinely feel they guided us to the right product, at a very fair price.
The install was carried out on the date and time we agreed. The visiting Engineer was a dream, the area was left clean tidy. The training overview on using the equipment was excellent, nothing was too much trouble.
