A7 Plastering

Avoid A7 Plastering (Ashley Phillips!) at all costs. He is an unskilled labourer not a plasterer or renderer, has no skill or experience in the trade. Uses a plaster whisk for render! Makes up everything he says, won't work full days, disappears frequently. Abandoned our job (quoted to take two weeks) 3 months in, having completed just one third of the rendering to a shocking standard. No one would touch it, it was a nightmare, had to be completely redone. Charged for work that wasnt needed, said he had done said work but this was a lie too. Stole thousands for a scaffold never erected, when challenged said he'd used it to pay his rent, never returned it despite promising to. Also charged us for a skip, never arrived, and then left a huge mountain of hardcore in the road outside our house, promised to remove it, never did. We shovelled 40 bags of hardcore ourselves and had to pay for removal on top. Left buckets of urine and rubbish on scaffold which we also had to clean up for him.

Kept disappearing throughout the job and then reappearing days/weeks later when chased. Did a terrible half done job which we ended up having to get someone else to finish. Not only is job quality and reliability terrible but he also made a mess of furniture and floor.

Stay away from them , not good plastering unreliable, and left bare wires exposed in lighting when putting lights back and never finishing the job
