I'll keep this brief since we'll be seeing this firm in court. The original estimate that they gave my 81 yr old mother was apprx £1500. In no time at all....after a supposed camera view of the drains, the number of days work increased 5-fold and the estimate they tried to get away with with over £7,000 !!

Having called out the firm to clear a blocked drain, a CCTV survey revealed a dropped sewerline.
They tried removing this damaged blockage.
Having spent the morning digging up the front patio to remove the blocked pipe, they decided the best answer was to dig a new drain to link up with the sewer.
When replacing the paving they failed to ensure that it was level.
Result 1 mtr x 1/2 mtr pooling of water when it rains, which fails to disperse & freezes when there is a frost.
We sent 2 letters requesting they level the paving as this presented a dangerous situation for both the family & visitors, and could result in us being sued.
The job was done on 15th November @ a cost of over £3,000. As there has been no response to our letters, we have now sorted the problem ourselves @ additional cost.

We strongly recommend that nobody uses this firm whose only motive seems to be to charge as much as possible & to hell with the consequences.
