Taking forever to fix a car with no updates

Used this company to fix a gearbox. Took a month to fix and had to call myself multiply times to chaise it as no updates were given to me. A month later I received my car however a week later something else came up so I had to give my car to them again. Now it’s been another month and the car is still not fixed. I keep chasing myself all the progress no one calls me. It’s ridiculous. I think they keep taking lots of cars to fix hence why it’s taking forever for them to fix each one. I have a newborn who requires hospital visits and in need of my car asap. They don’t care - still taking forever to fix. Now it’s a matter of me not having a car for 2 months in a course of 3 months length- extremely disappointed with the service !

Auto gearbox repair

My wife’s Galaxy had major gearbox problems, A1 was recommended to me by a business friend who said for that type of gearbox we had A1 premier Transmissions would be the best gearbox repairer to get the work carried out with. I had dealings with Both Mark and Dave who were very helpful throughout the time they had the car, right up until the pickup date.
It wasn’t a quick process they had many customers to deal with so it seemed like it was taking forever ! But during the whole time they would keep me informed always being polite answering all my concerns even when I became a little irate, being very diplomatic to put me at ease then telling me the progress that was being made and when I could expect the cars return, taking into account that all works had to be approved by the warranty company.
We got there in the end the car was repaired and the wife is happy.

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality A1 Premiere Transmissions fixed a problem that had been previously diagnosed by other garages as “tyre noise”, also “gear box bearings” and “ just the car at 50000 miles”. I had given up on getting this problem fixed (a worryingly persistent whining noise which changed in pitch when driving)... A1 did however. So a huge thank you. Based upon my experience, I can only recommend you to others in the most glowing of terms.
