Shocking service and general attitude from staff on the phone. Ordered a taxi for 2110 from higher penderleath camp site, arrived and waited for taxi for 10 minutes prior and it didn't arrive. When phoning the company to enquire about the whereabouts of my taxi the operator told me he had been and left and told me the taxi isn't allowed on to the campsite - would have been helpful for him to tell me this beforehand. Regardless of this, I was outside the main gate at just gone 2110 so the driver clearly made no effort to provide a decent service. Disgraceful, busy company that will be getting business regardless throughout the summer so customer service clearly isn't a priority

Questioned the tariff after being told by a local couple that the taxi from St Ives to Carbis Bay would be around £6 - we were charged £10. On calling the firm we were met with nothing but rudeness, then hung up on. Definitely not the way you treat customers, even if they are tourists.

These guys are great. We have used them a lot this week as we’ve headed into St Ives every evening on our family holiday staying out of town. All the drivers are friendly and professional. From the moment we’ve rang to our drop off we felt well looked after. Don’t ring anyone else, these are the guys to go to first.

I rang another taxi company and after 45 minutes they hadn’t turned up, I was told they would be 10 minutes and rang them twice to be told both times they were on their way. The waitress recommended A1 Cars, I rang them and they were there in 5 minutes, excellent service, professional friendly drivers, have used them many times since and they have never let me down, would never bother with any other company in St Ives again!
