A Troop Caledonion Army Cadet Force

My Daughter started with the A troop last year, she was age 13 at the time. She has so far been on countless trips and is booked in for her Duke of Edinburgh award and booked up for another big trip in 2021. The adult helpers are great, as are the other children. It's a great way for teenagers to spend two or three evenings a week, learning and contributing to their C.V along the way. Looking forward to our parents race night next month!

A Troop is a large and active unit of Army Cadets based in Glasgow's west end. Youngsters aged 12-17 attend every Monday and Thursday evening to take part in sporting, military and adventurous pursuits. It's all about making new friends, having fun, getting fit and challenging yourself. It is NOT about joining the army! Try them out or call them on 0141 357 1733 for more information.
