AMS Ophthalmic Opticians is an independent family practice with a practice in Purley and also in Worcester Park. Established since 1986, we are dedicated to the highest levels of clinical excellence and patient care. Our full time practitioner Aristos Savvides provides consistency, continuity, and familiarity within the community; an enthusiastic professional who is devoted to total patient satisfaction.
Our modern practices alongside our welcoming, friendly and helpful team offers the patient refreshing levels of TIME and CARE. Will Always Use This Opticians
5From the lovely, efficient, welcoming receptionist right the way through to their dedicated optometrist, we continue to receive an excellent service and always leave knowing that our sight really is in the best of hands.
Obviously there are cheaper opticians out there but I know they don’t come close; I firmly believe that our health is our greatest wealth. We’ve now moved further away but still use AMS as we don’t believe we could find better.

5I had an eye issue highlighted at the hospital but it was Mr Savvides who explained to all to me, and advised who to go to for deeper knowledge and away forward if need be.
It thankfully wasn’t needed.
He also has an amazing amount of “eye equipment/scans “ , so you leave an appointment with him in full facts of any issues you may or may not have.
He also cares very much, is highly professional and extremely knowledgeable but he is very nice too !
Jo on the desk is always wears a “ lovely smile” in greeting and also a very caring lady.
