Overall, very good experience.

I had a malfunctioning LG OLED TV out of warranty (apparently a now common issue..). The team were able to respond promptly, give out valuable advice and hand in a reasonable cost estimate and parts estimate and discussed other options to repair the part.

Pros:
- Gave accurate time estimates and costing of parts and repair and delivery.
- Repaired as stated, has been working for entirety of guarantee period.
- Good thorough updates and valuble advice regarding future electronics purchases and warranties.

Cons:
- had to chase them a little to get updates, but not unreasonably so. Would be helpful to have text message updates if an option is possible (more time friendly for both parties).

Note, would have given 4.5/5 to be more accurate, rounded up to be fair.

Overall: 9/10.

I strongly recommend that you do not use this shop - I took my Robert Radio in for repair in April and had to pay £30 to book it in. There were no calls so after three visits to the shop for an update I decided to go collect it - it is still broken, but actually now worse than before and is now not repairable - the case has been hacked and bashed, covered in holes and damage, the handle is not now attached , the electric cable is lost, and the new set of batteries gone. No recognition that they have caused unrepairable damage, in fact tried to get me to agree for the radio to be removed and replaced with a blue tooth speaker for over £100 - they are unbelievable- do not take anything precious to the shop as you will not see it again.

These guys are great. Fixed two of my Linn CD players when nobody in the Nottingham area would touch them. After extensive research my only option was to send it to Birmingham for repair but the company there were quoting a lot without even diagnosing the problem. In fact it's nigh on impossible getting Linn CDs fixed these days so I've nothing but respect for these guys. Really sound people, knowledgeable and experienced. Would recommend again and again.

I had a JVC TV back lights go three times in one year. Once going only 6 weeks after he had last fixed it. He told me to - Bring it in and he would take a look at it. Not a hint of embarrassment that I had last bought the TV to him only 6 weeks ago. He even claimed the reason why it needed repairing often was due to it being a cheap TV not even made by JVC - Not sure why that fact is relevant to be honest. Also while I was waiting for my repair he tried to sell an ancient Midi HI-Fi system to an unsuspecting punter for over 300 pound when I frankly would not have given him fifty quid for it. The guy is a rip off artist. Avoid.
