Unbelievably expensive for the small amount of basic timber I bought and the staff member at the counter was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I'd have told them to shove it once I got the price but I was in a pinch so had to lump it. I would advise anyone needing timber to go literally anywhere but here.

After purchasing ££'s of stuff, delivery we had no knock on the door, just receipt posted through door, no call to say they were here, which receipt had our number on, and the purchase was dumped on our driveway. when calling them to ask about it I spoke to the manager, who then insulted me and my family by asking how did I not know they were there as well as "well, how did you not hear us?" yet living in a new area, we have vans, diggers and more going on our road daily! The fact that i was just looking to query about it, but instead i get lied to, insulted, disrespected, and yelled at is disgusting, all i wanted to ask was why the sand was not in a bag or left on tarpaulin? i was expecting an apology or just a reason as we were never told it did not come in a bag, as we would not have bought it if we had known! but instead of a "sorry for the confusion or miscommunication" not only do i get insulted but my family as well who were there at the purchase witnessing us not being told!

Please note opening hours on some search engines are incorrect. We are open normal hours of business 0730 to 1730 Monday to Friday, and 0730 to 1145 on Saturdays. Thanks and stay safe!
