Andy recently re-fitted a door for me that had been swollen by damp weather and no longer fitted the frame. From his initial assessment of the work, through to his completion of the job, Andy was thoroughly professional and showed a clear insight of the problems and the work needed, not just to fix the door but to do the job properly. I would recommend him.

Oak Handrail to Dog legged Stairwell

Andy was great, he turned up as agreed, to give me a realistic quote & timescale for fixing an oak handrail with polished steel brackets to a dog leg shaped stairwell.
He arrived to do the work on the agreed date & time, he was very polite & friendly and he professionally carried out the work to an excellent standard and cleared up on completion.
I cannot fault his work and would recommend his joinery skills without hesitation.

A true craftsman

Andy Kelly has done a superb job of repairing two corner stanchions of a hardwood galleried bay window that were decaying with rot. He removed the decaying wood to rebuild the stanchions and base timbers with wooden replacements cut to size on site before finishing and sanding. The joints are indiscernible, the work of a true craftsman.

Wooden window repair

Faced with a rotten area on an original wooden window I was worried I wouldn’t find someone with the skill set to undertake a decent repair. Andy did a fantastic job. Splicing wood in and matching new to old. Impressive work, professional and tidy. What more could you ask for. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.
