Hello Andy and staff...As you know Young Andy and his colleague were out at my home today. .And i am just contacting yourselves to say how delighted i am with your service. .Both workmen were extremely friendly and help-full. .Young Andy even took the time to explain every step of the job they were doing. .And so...With this in mind i have composed a wee verse to convey how happy i am...A wee bit of Aiko..

A very pleasurable experince when purchasing our new fire

A seamless transaction and installation from an excellent and very friendly company. The sales ladies were very helpful and when we had decided, the administration and installation went ahead quickly. We are delighted with our new fire and have no hesitation in recommending this excellent local company.

Had my multi fuel burner installed this week by Andy & helper. They both worked tirelessly on the installation all day. Any small issues encountered were very quickly tackled and overcome. Andy delivers a high quality of workmanship and is very good at what he does. The fire is fantastic and looks brilliant. I would highly recommend this business if looking for a new stove.

I had my installation done yesterday. After reading the negative reviews, I think it is helpful to add my experience for anyone who is thinking of using this company. I have not experienced any rude behaviour from anyone in this family business. In fact, when I went into the showroom I took a long time to pick what I wanted. I found the lady very patient and did not apply sales pressure that you often find in these circumstances. I was encouraged to go and think about it as it was such a big purchase. The men that came out yesterday were hard working and took their time to ensure that the job was done to my satisfaction. There was a problem with the flue and they stayed and made sure it was fixed before leaving. I noted also that they spent a long time cleaning the fireplace to make sure it looked its best. I'm very happy with the end result and can't wait to start using it!

Poor value for money, poor customer service

Went in for a register plate not knowing what they typically cost. Was sold one for over £60 and discovered after leaving they are available pre-cut for a fraction of the price.
I went back within 20 minutes to say I'd changed my mind and was refused a refund. A man who I assume was the owner or manager was rude and threatened to investigate whether my installation has the relevant certificates etc. (it does).

Mr Barratt , when you first called you were advised that we did not have the standard size register plates in stock over the phone but we did have larger sizes the prices were clearly explained to you when you were in the shop of each item you had the option then not to purchase them you happily paid for those items at those prices upon your return with only 1 of the items you were denied a refund because it was not damaged or faulty most people will price compare before a purchase not after a purchase perhaps the prices you are referring to is for a standard or smaller register plate of less quality the bigger the size the better the quality the more expensive that is standard on any item from any shop . In regards to having the relevant certificates their was no discussion as regards certs we have no liability as regards to the safety and compliance of the appliance as this is the sole responsibility of the installer which was another person out with this company.
