A Crombie & Son

Just had a £6.90 steak pie for 2 people. The quantity of meat worked out about 75p let piece ( not including postage). Would not but again rather make my own.

I am a local shopper and I have found a few of the Staff have an attitude problem. Do not take kindly to complaints. Think they should remember if it wasn’t for their loyal local customers just where would their business be heading.? And may I add ‘again’. I have lived in this area for over 20years and given them my custom.

Had a terrific Burns’ supper with friends in Lancaster last night featuring one of Crombies’ chieftain haggis and their gluten-free version. Mail-order service was exemplary,everything arrived vacuum packed, on ice packs in a polystyrene box. And the end result? Warm, reekin’, rich! Weel-swall’d kytes and “bethankit hums” all around the table. One word of caution: take care when cutting open the vacuum packaging, as it’s very easy to nick the haggis casing, causing it to split while it’s cooking. All in all a fine product backed up by excellent service. Thanks Crombies!
