Shocking service

Myself and 3 of my friends booked a taxi at 2.30 last night. After waiting for nearly 2 hours we called the company who said that we didn’t show up for our taxi so it left. We didn’t receive a text or call that the taxi was outside so it was obviously the fault of the driver who clearly never came. We booked another one and that didn’t arrive for another hour. We were left sitting in the rain in Glasgow city centre at 5am. Eventually a taxi for us arrived but this was almost 3 hours after the original taxi was booked. Service from A1 radio cars was shocking and this was a Thursday night which isn’t one of their busier nights. Really unhappy about this experience and will not be using A1 again.

Avoid, Terrible Service

Would give 0 stars if i could. Pre booked an estate car for return from Glasgow airport on 15th April 2019 due to 4 cases and 4 passengers, one of which who was blind, and our 8 year old daughter. They supplied an estate car on way in to airport, with no issues. However, when the female driver arrived in a black vw passat, not an estate, we knew the luggage wouldnt fit, and didnt. She called her controller, no other cars available. They contacted another company to send a car. I asked if it would cost more as i would charge the extra to A1, but she said "Whatever" got in the car and drove off, at 2am, leaving me,my wife, our 8 year old and my blind sister in law at the airport. We got a company from Bellshill to take us home, who picked us up an hour later, in a VW Golf Estate, as the company A1 contacted would take a lot longer and were £20 more expensive. The female driver should hang her head in shame regarding her conduct. SH63JWP Black VW Passat 2am 15th April 2019. Will not use

Totally unreliable!

Ordered a taxi and gave directions. Received a message to say 'Driver is outside', but no sign of the taxi. Received another message within minutes to say 'Driver couldn't find you'. Tried phoning a few times but ended getting transferred to an answer machine message each time.
Never again will I use this taxi company.
The number of complaints clearly shows how unreliable they are...

Drivers attitude is boggin

I got out a taxi 10 minutes ago, normally have lovely drivers who make you comfortable. I climbed in the car with a drink from Burger King and it slipped from my legs and spilled when I was putting my seatbelt on. The driver (name is William) looked at me and I apologised about 10 times and he was so horrible “I just got this car validated, shouldn’t of let you in” i told him I said sorry and his response was “I’m no saying you didn’t but I’m just saying” I’m a young girl and I have apologised and looked in my bag to clean up my mess!! Honestly the worst experience ever from this company. It made me so uncomfortable that i cried when I got home.

Surprised and Disappointed

Called for a cab from Bothwell to Glasgow. I was not informed that the car was cash only until the end of the trip, at which point I had to use my international card to get money (paying a hefty fee) and had to sprint to get my train. As someone who is travelling, and is always able to use card for a cab at home, I would advise that customers be informed when ordering the car that there is a possibility it could be cash only. The driver was visibly frustrated that I didn’t have cash, and I felt quite uncomfortable.
