606 Recovery & Vehicle Transport

I had the misfortune of a dead Starter Motor for my van whilst stuck high up a bendy narrow single track lane above Todmorden in the rain. 606 sent a huge 30 ft recovery vehicle to get me... You'd think it wasn't ideal but you'd be wrong. Luckily, Carl the driver/mechanic knew what he was doing and skilfully reversed round the hairpin turns, ignoring the terrifying sheer drop to the side and kept the friendly banter flowing. He then dedicated over an hour to winch me back from where I was stuck onto the lane and bump start me so i could get home. I know others would have given up before even starting. Without that resilience, expert knowledge, skill and ingenuity I dunno what I would have done. Stayed the night probably... But Carl got me out carefully and safely with his friendly professionalism and reassuring approach. I commend guys like Carl, so if his boss is reading this, take note and give him a pay raise.

I cant remember the chaps name, but he collected my Juke from halifax road. He was a lovely guy. A big thumbs up for service. Well happy with the service. Me and my partner are thankful. Thanks for all you do. Tracking was available too, he stayed in contact with us and was really helpful.
