My name is Dawn Aiken. My assessment and treatment takes 55 minutes which allows you to gain maximum benefit from each treatment. Most people find improvement after the initial treatment and become a lot better with a small number of treatments.

I have been a Physiotherapist for over 35 years. I am an advocate of thorough assessment, hands-on treatment and exercise to help your recovery. I am fully trained in Tan Wu Bian (now called Si Yuan) acupuncture and acupressure with the late Dr Richard Tehfu Tan. Acupuncture and acupressure have huge benefits in balancing energy and therefore allowing the body to heal. I successfully completed a BSc in Physiotherapy in 1987 and an MSc in Clinical Anatomy in 2020. My wide range of experience has been developed from working with expert clinicians in England, Canada and Northern Ireland.

I have extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions as well as conditions which respond well to acupuncture or acupressure such as headaches, sinusitis, chronic and acute pain, gastrointestinal disorders, anxiety and depression. My facial rejuvenation acupuncture/acupressure is a relaxing wellbeing treatment. Acupuncture is used on the scalp to stimulate facial energy channels. Acupressure and lymphatic drainage are applied to the face and neck area. This combination relaxes the face muscles, minimizes facial lines, stimulates the circulation and reduces facial puffiness. It is a totally natural treatment and the risk of facial bruising is eliminated by inserting needles on the scalp and indirectly stimulating facial energy channels. It is a lovely treatment to have prior to a special event so your face will be glowing or as a regular boost to your skincare regimen. A recent client reported that she looked 10 years younger after this treatment.
