My son used 5Day was told he wasn’t ready by the end of the week and had to wait over two months before he could get another test, terrible customer service and so hard to get more lessons booked up, leaving voicemails and texts to the instructor and two weeks later still heard nothing so had to go to another driving school. Not happy and over £1000 wasted! Stay clear!

As a first time customer and as a new driver I was not only very disappointed but shocked at their customer service, approach to training new drivers and failure to keep any of the promises found on their website.
They speak of providing 20 hours of driving - which I did not get and was later advised is normal
They promise to provide support and free re-training for the theory test if failed - which I later found out and discovered was false
When I called before booking to advise I was a new learner, I was promised a welcoming, supportive learning environment for new learners - I later found this untrue and the exact opposite
When trying to share my feedback and concerns on the first day - I was advised this would change and it was only day 1
When I later tried to share my feedback at the end of the course when nothing had changed they really don’t care if your are happy or not as they already have your money. Legal actions will be taken

They don't offer a practical test so really you just get 5 days of consecutive driving lessons. Dividing the hours by the cost meant it was £43.80 per hour!

I had already done my Theory Test and given it says on their website "With a Theory Test on the course (if required)" I didn't think this was a problem. It was.

My experience in the car was the most shocking thing about it. His car was a bomb shell, he was so patronising constantly saying "I hope you remember that" and when I didn't remember (because you know...first time in a car) i was scolded and he wasn't prepared to tell me twice, he grabbed at my wheel in excess of 10 times per day...for all 5 days! Not because I was a poor driver, because he just didn't do verbal instruction. This constant grabbing at my wheel made me incredibly anxious.

5day didn't save me time or money at all...it cost me financially, a weeks holiday and above all it cost me my confidence.
