39 Kebab & Pizza House

Lovely food, I order this every week and it never disappoints I don't understand the bad reviews I've never had a bad meal from here, also the American and Mexican sauce are utterly fabulous. I also order on the app/website where I claim loyalty points and when I get to 1000, I can spend them as £10 or I can save them up.

Absolutely shocking service from both No 39 and Just Eat. Main part of meal missing(garlic bread with donner meat) leaving me with chips and salad. Takeaway offered to send out the missing part but the chips would have been cold. Was told to eat them and eat the other part when it arrives. It was part of a meal that I wanted to eat together. Put it to the shop that if I went out to eat I would not get my chips then my steak half an hour later to be told but its not a restaurant you are having a takeaway. Called Just eat whose service was equally as bad. £15 wasted as after dealing with these awful people I didn't dare eat the food they sent in case something untoward had been done to it! Just Eat actually too my money not the takeaway so should have done something about it as my contract was with them. Will definitely not use either again and would encourage others not to and to use more reputable takeaway directs(in my case Santas), pay that little bit more and get a proper service.

Disappointed in 39 as we have used them for years. Bloke behind counter last night was rude and his reaction to a simple complaint was so nasty. We ordered £20+ worth of food and while waiting on a pizza the burger was done but left on the side for 10+ minutes my husband simply said thats going to be cold as its been sat around, his reply "what do you want me to do about it" then walked away. I threw the burger away but its upsetting as this could and should of been handled alot better. Food normally is excellent but attitude of staff has put us off.

We ordered a pizza and a kebab on JustEat. Order accepted, but an additional 15 minutes was added to the estimated delivery time. No worries, thanks for letting us know. An hour after we ordered (and ten minutes after the new ETA) there had been no knock at the door. So we thought we'd ring to check up.

The first gentleman we spoke to said we don't deliver to your area. Then why add 15 minutes to the delivery time?

At this point we were passed on to another gentleman, who told us they hadn't bothered making it as they don't have enough drivers to get to our area anymore, and are too busy.

I understand that you have had to adjust your delivery radius due to understaffing, and that you are too busy to update this on your JustEat profile, but were you too busy to give us a quick call and let us know? I notice that you accepted the pre payment readily enough, and confirmed it had been delivered after our phone call - making it harder for us to receive a refund from JustEat.

Ordered food from here waited 1hour 15 mind food arrived I asked to check if it was warm the delivery guy argued with me then when he finally let me check the food it was cold and when I asked the driver to check himself he could not argue as he knew it was Cold I phoned the shop told them and they didn't care they just said fine and hung up the phone with no apology not the service you would expect and I won't be going here again
