I am Stuart Robb, I run my own business in the delivery of First Aid and its called "1stAid4u". I have run this business as a sole trader for the last 11 years, mostly in the South of Scotland, but will travel anywhere. I run Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid, Basic Life Support, Outdoor First Aid, Sports First Aid as well as CPR + AED courses. My Awarding Organisation I link up with is Qualification Network UK (QNUK), I am also qualified in the delivery of Mental Health First Aid under the umbrella of Nuco Training. These courses are the half day Awareness of Mental Health First Aid, the full day First Aid for Mental Health, also the 2 day Supervising First Aid for Mental Health. These courses can be delivered to anyone from the shop floor to senior management. I have been employed in the past by Dumfries and Galloway College and Borders College in the delivery of First Aid to full/part time students, to employees of local or national businesses. My reputation as an Instructor is of the upmost importance because if the learner leaves my courses and not gained the qualification they are after then I have not done my job. As well as gaining a certificate they leave with confidence in their ability to act on their skills if needed. I'm very passionate in First Aid and everyone should have some knowledge in case of any emergency at home/work/socially. In fact a little bit of knowledge might just save someones life.
