The Motability Scheme offers simple, all-inclusive leasing, designed to make getting around easier. With the Motability Scheme you simply exchange all, or part of your mobility allowance, to lease a brand scooter or powered wheelchair. The price of every lease includes insurance, breakdown, battery and tyre repair and replacment. Please call in advance of visiting to make an appointment, or to find out the measures we have put in place for home visits.

Dreadful afyercare service!

I had a scooter in March. I did not ride it for many weeks due to Covid isolation. When I did it it out on me four times, despite being fully charged on the last occasion and I did not even go over a bump. They are now saying battery has passed its test and trying to force me to take it back which of course I am not going to. Everyone claims to be the manager! Very disappointing!

Ordered a new powerchair with 1ststepmobility it came delivered damaged and they ordered another one the front wheel bearings went after 3 months the two back motors went after 6 months and they delivered the powerchair back damaged the man that delivered the powerchair back damaged kept talking about charlie paying 175 pounds for a stone island scarf and kept on about his daughter tik tok on website he bored me for a hour , i have been waiting 5 weeks for the new panel to be ordered and fitted, this company is inefficient not very good at organisation.

Stairlift

Daniel fitted a stair lift for my parents on 10/08/17. I found the whole experience to be stress free and very efficient. Daniel had a warm and reassuring manner and readily answered my questions. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend 1st Step Mobility Ltd.
