1st lets - the worst

0 STARS! our bedroom ceiling is soaked and now is raining almost every day and I'm pretty sure the ceiling is gonna fall but nobody actually cares.

Something's Not Right

Very similar experience to some other reviews. Sent in the holding deposit and were told we would find out within 7 days then less than a day later...rejected without any reason even though I enquired. They made a huge point that the landlord wanted someone in ASAP which worked for us and genuinely there is nothing that would make us undesirable applicants. I would maybe think twice before pursuing an application here, I wish we had followed the advise of these fellow reviewers and avoided this agency. Bad vibes about this place...

Avoid.

Video failed to highlight that the property was inhabitable. Handed keys and expected to go to property ourselves. All taps not working bar one that was spouting water everywhere. Property hadn’t been cleaned professionally or by last tenants it seemed. Black mould all over bathroom, bedroom carpet threadbare, kitchen filthy and hole in ceiling due to damp, livingroom had nails and pins sticking out wall, and hadn’t been freshly painted (to say the least!!). Also got locked in flat the day we got our keys, maintenance had to take lock off door leaving property unsafe. Can not believe this company let prospective tenants take keys to flat in this state. Avoid at all costs...

Incompetent in regards to communication

They are an agency that almost does what it says on the tin. However when a dilemma occurs, they are unable to handle it. The ceiling in our bathroom collapsed, and we were left with no ceiling for 3 months before we had to move out, due to the leaks, cold draughts, and the risk of more rubble falling. They were incompetent in their approach towards it, telling us it will be fixed and not giving us a timeframe.
The main thing I would highlight is poor communication between staff within the team. Joanne has been rude to me on the phone when I was upset over the leaking ceiling. On one occasion she refused to listen to the damage I was describing to her, so I had to pass my phone to the neighbour to paraphrase it for her. I have never felt so relieved to have left an agency, and I have been with 3 different agencies in Glasgow. But this one has been far the worst.
Advice; better to rent from a landlord directly than an agency.
