Terrible.. paid in advance £140 for taxi from Stansted for 5 people, they sent a car with 4 seats, told us they'd refund, took my bank details, sent the taxi away, then said they won't refund, so they've taken £140 off me lied about refunding then denied it. Apparently we should have said we need a minibus, but surely saying there is 5 of us is obvious a 4 seat car isn't big enough ? Do not use this company

Nearly caused a multi-car pile-up. Late. Dangerous and do not care about anyone

One of their drivers NEARLY CAUSED A MULTIPLE CAR PILE-UP whilst taking three bridesmaids to our daughter's wedding. He did not know where he was going and asked the bridesmaids how to get there?! He was so terrified of getting lost that he followed the bridal Rolls Royce with a top speed of 45mph along the NDR. He proceeded to pull out onto Buxton Road heading towards Alby. If it wasn't for the drivers of the other vehicles on the A140 who managed to stop many people could have been seriously injured or worse. (07/05/22 if you were involved in this)
They were also late in picking up the bridesmaid, cancelling the booked minibus and making us pay for two taxis ONE HOUR BEFORE THE WEDDING! They deny they were late even though I have sent them proof.
The Bridesmaids turned up at the wedding AFTER the bride.
Also a list of other issues but the computer says I can not describe this in any detail as it counts as profanity?
With so many other companies to choose from, don't choose these!

Dishonest taxi driver

I had a very unpleasant experience with an older Goldstar taxi driver earlier this week. Due to the 30 minutes delay of the airplane arriving, the usual taxi fare fee of Gbp 17.00 had been increased. I can accept that, but what I don't accept is on top of the more expensive fare of Gbp 22.00, the taxi driver took it upon himself to inform me upon arrival the fare was Gbp 25.00. I paid him in cash and only noticed the incorrectness when I received the invoice by email from Goldstar.

I would like to point out that the taxi driver NEVER informed me of the increase of the taxi fare beforehand, which should also have taken place when I entered the car. I have been in touch with Goldstar who immediately correctly responded; sadly their taxi driver gives a different storyline. Needless to say: I will never use Goldstar again. It is not so much about the Gap 3.00 as such, but the fact that this taxi driver blatantly cheats customers.

Inappropriate behaviour

My mum and I had just called a taxi to move my things out from uni. The driver was nice at first. We stopped at an atm in city centre for my mum to pick up cash. As soon as my mum left the driver turned around and started forcing conversation. Telling me to take my mask off and saying I have a pretty smile and kept asking for my phone number so that we could meet in private or over the weekend. He gave the excuse that I’m going back to Norwich anyways that’s why I should give my number. My mum had only been outside for just over 5 minutes. I felt very uncomfortable and he ignored the uncomfortable cues and seemed excited that someone’s daughter was in the car for him to harass. He also claimed to be the owner of the company and was literally telling me about his wife…

Terrible service never use again

Ran late, never told us. Had to ring to find out they wouldn't get us there on time. Had to cancel and order a from a different company. Terrible service will never use again. Don't know how the hell they are running a taxi service when they don't turn up. Useless.
