I live in an estate in South London where a barrier from this company has been installed and I am not impressed. There are huge callout fees (around £200+) and even after those fees they often turn up over a week later. The barrier itself needs regular maintenance and charge for new keyfob is extortionate. The original keyfob is very poor quality, lasted under a year with minimal use and would clearly need replacing every year. I was quoted something ridiculous like £38+VAT+delivery when an inquiry was made about a new one - that is disgusting. Overall I am extremely disappointed and would give less than 1 star if possible.

I read with interests the list of unhappy customers here. When something goes wrong they don’t fix it and try to escalate their charges. A very unhelpful confrontational style. We have a had an unusable gate because of them for two months. £3k of bills and no working gate and no offer to repair - they are a disgrace

They are very friendly until something goes wrong, which it often does. Someone forced our gates recently, we were told by 1st ACE that "the mechanisms were beyond economic repair", the cost to replace would be £3,500 + VAT. I took matter into my own hands and armed with only 1 cross head screw driver and no experience of how gates worked, I managed to fix them in 10 mins. Once removing the 3 screws on the inspection plate it was completely obvious that a pin had come out of place. I relocated the pin and the gates have now been operating perfectly for the last 2 months.
