1919 Taxis

So upset with the service I missed my doctors appointment which I needed due to a serious foot injury I was told it would be straight away and it was 21 minutes!

Despite getting my destination wrong and my current location, and therefore had to call back multiple times, they were very pleasant. Taxi driver himself was very pleasant too.

I have been using 1919 for more than 12 years and to be perfectly honest I have never has a problem with them, either being on late or any of the drivers attitudes

They have been really good picking up in out of the way places and not overcharging me for doing so.

Even though we have moved out of Marple they still come to pick us up in Glossop and the prices are as competitive as a local taxi service

I am not a customer of 1919 taxis and never will as there drivers think it's ok to queue jump at traffic lights and then proceed to shout and beep at me to get out of the way when they cause a traffic jam. Being a woman in a car on my own I found that behaviour to be frightening and intimidating and can't imagine how the school children he had in his minibus must have felt!

I phoned and was told someone would get back to me to deal with my complaint and heard nothing back this company doesn't even deserve the 1 star I had to give

Always either really early or hrs late! Joke!
