121 Swindon Taxis

Used this company even though slightly more expensive - as was promised a good service for my 93 year old Grandmother, who was looking for a reliable, regular service. The Driver turned up today - he did not know where to take her - charged her over the odds (already given a price as a regualr trip) and then tried to get her to walk the rest of the way - as he did not know where to go! Awful - she will not be using them again.

Dave seemed nice when I made enquiries, so I booked them to take my parents, husband and I to a small Folk and Ale Festival in Broad Town. The driver turned up a bit early but was happy to wait. The cab we got was dated and dirty inside, not like the pictures. The driver was friendly but drove like he was on a formula 1 track.
The main issue came to collection. I called just after 10pm and Dave told me he’d get someone to us. 90 mins later, still no taxi and my calls/messages were not picked up or replied to even when I asked to be told if they couldn’t collect us anymore. On calling around, no other cabs available until 1am. Not impressed at all!!!!!!
We were rescued by an employee of the event who went over and above. Wouldn’t use 121 again if I was paid to.

Booked a 7 seat taxi from Swindon to devizes and the communication was great received texts of vehicle details and where they would be. would definitely recommend

Dave picked three of us up at Swindon train station and took us to the start of the Ridgeway trail at Avebury. We all had bikes but one of out party had decided to bring along a unit that was clearly too big for the job. Dave dealt with this politely and professionally and soon had the front wheel off and all three bikes and ourselves settled comfortably in his seven seater.
Another potential problem arose during the journey when a small dispute broke out over the location of the starting line. This involved the member of our party who had bought along the big bike, again Dave dealt diplomatically and efficiently with the matter and his expert knowledge of the area won the day.
I can't recommend 121 Swindon Taxis highly enough, Dave was a friendly host and great driver, provided reasonable rates and got us to out destination in good spirits for a great two days in the saddle.

Used for an airport run. Was very comfortable in their big vehicle and the driver arrived early. Very pleased with the service received and will definitely use them again.
