Hello, my name is Allison and I am a Primary School teacher with over fifteen years’ experience of helping children to prepare for the Lincolnshire Eleven Plus exam. I provide a friendly, calm and focused learning environment combined with expert Eleven Plus tuition, at my home in Digby village, a convenient location for families living in Sleaford and surrounding (NG34 & LN4) areas.

In 2005, I began a very successful and long-running club at my local primary school, teaching the specific skills and strategies associated with the local grammar school Verbal and Non-verbal 11+ tests. For several years, I have focused on providing one-to-one 11+ tuition (shared sessions can also be arranged) whilst also keeping my teaching skills and knowledge up-to-date with supply teaching at a local primary school.

Highly recommended

I would absolutely recommend Allison as your 11+ tutor. My son was quite nervous to begin with but Allison put him at ease straight away. She made the lessons enjoyable so that learning the techniques etc. didn't feel like a chore. Her advice and tutoring helped him to pass with flying colours, I couldn't recommend Allison highly enough.

Builds confidence

I would whole heartedly recommend Allison for 11+ tutoring. My daughter gained so much from her sessions. Allison's calm, patient and experienced approach builds confidence and understanding of what seems quite daunting at the start as 11+ is so different from usual school work.....especially non verbal! I was welcome to wait or collect my daughter at end of lesson, when Allison always updated me on how session went and ideas for practice etc for next lesson. During lockdown Allison was available via text, email and online lessons. When the time came to take test my daughter was more than ready and applied that new found confidence, which I'm delighted to say was successful and achieved a great pass score.

11+ tuition

I highly recommend Allison. She was key in guiding my son for the exam. Even though he does not like doing things for long time she patiently engaged him. When he got bored with so much learning she made him engage and do the test. When I was getting worried when he had poor marks in practice, She always motivated him. She is very calm person. My younger son just started 11+ tuition with Allison.

Excellent

Allison started teaching my daughter last October. She is very calm, patient and focused. My daughter enjoyed going and passed her 11+ with an excellent mark.
