I love the views and the setting for the Marsh Cat. YOu can spend a lovely afternoon or early evening looking out over the rolling hills of North Wales.
The food is excellent, there is a decent choice of seasonal goodies and the menu is always changing. There are special offers for lunchtime and evenings. Weekends and eveninigs can get busy so you may be seated upstairs. The views are better but if it is quiet it can seem a little isolated and out of it. The lack of a toilet downstairs can put many of the older customers off.
The restaurant has many quirks including the fascination with cats. The drinks are reasonably priced for a restaurant, although you will see your bill increase a lot with it.
